T-Shirt/Memory Quilt FAQs
Do I cut the t-shirts or clothing?
I prefer the shirts are left intact before you send them to me.
If you need to ship your shirts and want to save on shipping, I would recommend just cutting the sleeves off and splitting the seams at the top of the shirt and the sides. Send me the proper part of the shirt with the logo on it.
Do I get to pick fabric used in the quilt?
Yes, you do! At the quilt consultation we will discuss design and that is where you get to pick the color and types of backing fabric. I include you in the process as much as you want. Fabric selection can be made in person, via photos/Facetime.

What is included in the price?
The price includes design, fabric, notions/supplies, sewing labor, quilting, interfacing, batting, binding. If there are custom features you want added, additional fees apply and will be added to the cost, approved by you prior to starting construction of the quilt.

How can I pay you?
I accept Venmo for ALL Customers. Local customers can also pay via Cash and Check.
How do I get my shirts/items ready for you?
It works best if you freshly launder the items in fragrance free detergent, avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets. These can affect the quilting of your finished quilt.

Can I wash my quilt?
Yes, you can! Put quilt in the washer by itself and set to "bulky/towels" in cold water and then dry for 10 minutes. Then take the quilt out of the dryer and hang dry. If your quilt has dark red shirts, please use Color Catcher Sheets in the washer to prevent bleeding onto the light fabrics.
